Hi, I’m Shirley. I’m a mother of two boys and have been living in Ibiza for over a year and a half.

Before moving to Ibiza, I worked for several years as a nanny. During that time, I cared for children of different ages and supported families in many everyday situations. As a mother myself, I know how important it is to leave your children with someone you genuinely trust.

Alongside Little Lux Ibiza, I am also the founder of May Mays. Since 2019, May Mays has grown into the largest provider in the Netherlands and Belgium of handmade personalised pacifier clips, teething rings and keychains with names. You can find the brand at maymays.nl. Running a baby‑focused brand for many years has strengthened my focus on safety, trust and quality, values that are just as important in childcare.

After moving to Ibiza, I quickly noticed a strong demand for reliable babysitters, especially for families on holiday or staying in villas.

From my own experience as a nanny and mother, combined with my local network, I started Little Lux Ibiza. It is a babysitting service built around trust, calmness and finding the right personal match.

We work with carefully selected babysitters and nannies in Ibiza who are chosen for their experience, reliability and natural connection with children.

That is why we work in a personal and direct way via WhatsApp. This allows us to respond quickly and thoughtfully, and to match each family with a babysitter who truly suits their needs. I stay personally involved in every request and also regularly work as a babysitter myself.
